1. When traveling to Denmark, bring your own refreshments if you can. The ones provided at the bar are usually overpriced and will contribute to the overall increase in your expenses. You do not have to buy a coke for thrice its retail price on the grocery store.
2. In case you encounter any problems in the hotel rooms, inform the hotel management immediately. Forward your concerns at the help desk for them to solve the problem. Do not assume that they will detect the problem on their own.
3. If you have made Denmark hotel reservations at a high class hotel, you will probably be paying a lot of money. Therefore, demand for excellent service. Since you have paid, you should get value for your money. However, be polite when making your request.
4. Before you retire to bed, ensure that the TV has been turned off and auto turn-on has not been enabled. Also, check that the alarm is set to the time that you want and not what you found in the room. Some guests in Denmark sometimes set the alarm at wee hours of the night to prank on those who will take the room after them.
5. If you find that your room has not been prepared, you do not have to get worked up. Politely let the room attendants know and it will be made in no time. If you go out ranting and raving about the room, the attendants will grudgingly prepare the room and may not be too willing to help you during your stay at the Denmark hotel.
6. Be careful on the calls you make from the hotels. Most Denmark hotels bill you by the minute for making calls in your room. Inquire with the room attendant and know their call charges before you decide to use the telephone. Instead of using the room telephone, go to the lobby and use the payphone which is much cheaper although it may not be the most convenient.
