While away extra time with family cruises

I had a serious discussion with my kids last night. For a long time they were complaining that they were not enjoying their holidays. Thinking about making some changes that they would like, I told them to have discussion with me after lunch. They took pains to explain how bored they were the way we enjoyed the holidays every year. It was the same old routine of a 4 hours or so journey by air to some different country. At the end of the trip we ended up wasting 3-4 days of the holidays. According to them, we could easily enjoy the additional days if we took family cruises to our destination point. I appreciated their idea and began planning our holidays.

As usual, I relied on the internet to provide me with additional information. It is really amazing how one can find out whatever information they want from the net. On querying the net I found out to my pleasure that there were huge lists of sites that specialized in offering cruise deals. It was already quite late and the holidays were just a few days away. In fact my kids had already returned home from their boarding school. After browsing through a couple of sites I nearly gave up. All the cruises were booked up well in advance it seems. Thinking to give it one more go, I tried out another site. Bingo! These folks were offering last minute cruises. I scrambled and booked our ticket online. I’m sure the kids will love me for this.
