Group Travel Advantage

You always have a travel advantage when you travel as a group. You can save a lot of money on food, accommodation, and even on the cost of your tickets. You can always get some form of concession from the travel agency when you go as a group. Many travel companies also give huge concessions to student groups and teams that represent educational institutions or sports organizations. Groups are also entitled to a certain number of free tickets. Either the travel agency or the airline might offer this benefit. So a group would be eligible to effectively take more people than it is actually paying for. Many travel agencies might also assign a dedicated tour manager to organize the travel arrangements for the group.

Apart from saving money on travel, a group can also save considerably on accommodation costs. Dormitories typically cost lesser than hotel rooms. Special accommodation facilities are also sometimes provided for people traveling in groups. Many of these places even have a common kitchen that can be used by travelers. Cooking as a team is always a great experience. Everyone gets to pitch in and do their part. Some might do the actual cooking while others might help in cutting vegetables, washing dishes, running errands and even offering expert comments on the final product. On the whole, everyone gets to play a part and have a lot of fun in the process.

A group would never have a boring minute to worry about. Everyone has something interesting to share and there is never a dull moment. Some would share jokes. Others would narrate a funny incident that involved them or someone they knew. Some would sing. Some would play an instrument. Everyone in the group would be able to showcase one talent or the other. Groups can also have a lot of fun playing various different games together. There are both indoor as well as outdoor games to choose from. There are also computer games that allow groups to play as teams one against the other. With so much group travel advantage, there is not a moment to lose during such trips.
