3. After arriving at your destinations, your travel agency can provide you with bus tours around the city. This comes at an additional cost on your travel package. Why not be more adventurous and scout the destination by yourself? You can use destination maps to tour the area. Alternatively, you can hire one of the local inhabitants to show you around. This is much cheaper than going for escorted bus tours.
4. Planning the date that you will take the tour is very important if you want to get bargains. Are you travelling during a peak or off-peak season? Packages are usually expensive during peak seasons. To get round this, you can book your holiday during off-peak season and pay in advance. In this way, you are likely to pay the low off-peak rates and travel whenever you feel like, even if it is during peak season.
5. Finally, shop around for the best package that will suit your budget. There are many travel agencies that offer cheap travel packages. Just because you haven’t heard of an agency does not mean they provide poor service. In fact, they may be offering the best cheap travel package but may not know how to market their services. Shop around; it never hurts to find out.
